About Colon Hydrotherapy- or Colonic

The LIBBE Colonic Irrigation Device is an FDA-registered Class II device for colon cleansing when medically indicated, such as before radiological or endoscopic examination. 

A Colonic or colon irrigation takes place in a private room, affording the patient both modesty and dignity and the practitioner ease-of-use. The LIBBE Device is comfortable and allows the patient the simple release of the contents of the large Intestine (colon) during a 40–45-minute session.  

The LIBBE Device was developed to assist the healthcare practitioner and patient for a simpler comfortable preparatory method prior to medical procedures, such as before a colonoscopy or when medically indicated by a DR.  Colon Hydrotherapy is referred to as Colonic or colon irrigation. These are names for hydrotherapy which uses water for inner cleansing. Colon Hydrotherapy is a clean and comfortable treatment.

The small nozzle is easily inserted to cleanse (evacuate) the contents of your lower colon. Your dignity is always maintained! The system is designed to allow evacuation of the contents of the colon during the administration of colon hydrotherapy. Professional Colonic Devices have systems, that the pressure, temperature, and flow of water, are all safely regulated throughout the session. The water is purified with an Ultraviolet Water Purification System. The LIBBE Device is comfortable and may be operated in privacy for those who prefer solitude. There is no odor! Odor is whisked away through the sewer drainpipe. A Colonic is also Used as a non-laxative preparation for colonoscopy or when medically indicated. The water has the potential to reach the cecum or beginning of the ascending colon which can allow for a deeper cleanse.  Removes fecal matter from lower bowel or fecal impaction.

Water flows through a Carbon Filter which removes any sediment, rust, or chlorine. The water is purified by an Ultraviolet Purification System, before it passes through the colon cleansing nozzle. Water flows gently into the rectum and waste releases naturally.

A gentle slow rate of UV purified-temperature safe water is fed from the gravity-fed Column. Less than TEN gallons of water may be used during the session at a safe temperature of 98 F. to 102 F. (36.8ºC to 38.ºC) (Water temperature is safely controlled and adjusted). An Odor Exhaust System ensures that the session room and entire center remains ODOR FREE.

Our Colonic device LIBBE base (table) has over three feet of clear viewing tube, which allows the patient/client and the therapist to easily view (without any odor) the waste during releases.

To Start the session:  The Client undresses from the waist down and is properly draped during the session.  You will be covered, and the client inserts a small colon cleansing nozzle in privacy by the client with instructions from the therapist.  The Colon cleansing nozzle is the ‘size of a pencil’, single use, and disposed of after each individual use.  Once the client is ready and, on the device, the client will notify the therapist that they are draped and ready to begin.

After a colonic session:  A rinsing sprayer attached to the device is available for the client to rinse bottom after session for a clean experience. Sessions last approximately 45 minutes. Modesty is protected at all times.

A trained certified colon hydrotherapist is always nearby to monitor and provide patient/client assistance and comfort as needed.

After each session the LIBBE is easily and safely disinfected by a TRAINED LIBBE THERAPIST for a CLEAN and SANITARY Experience.  We pride ourselves in a CLEAN and SANITARY experience each and every time during a colonic.
